For example, teenagers (whose teeth are still growing), who undergo orthodontic treatment too early may need to have braces&nbsp;until they are ready for surgery \u2013 alternatively, the braces can be removed and then placed back again once their teeth have stopped growing. Once upon a time, the number of adults seeking orthodontic treatment in this area was very low, as traditional braces (which can be obtrusive in the workplace) were one of the only options.
