What is Smile Rapide?
Smile Rapide is Park Lane’s own range of fast-acting orthodontic treatments available to adults at Park Lane. This type of treatment is favoured by those wishing to look their best for an event such as a wedding or special event. Smile Rapide braces generally take less than a year to align or straighten teeth. The principal treatment options are either invisible lingual braces (fitted behind your front teeth) or cosmetic fixed braces which are very discreet.
You will be invited to an initial consultation so that your needs can be ascertained and a bespoke treatment plan can be drawn up. We will be able to tell you whether short term orthodontics is the right way forward for you. As we do not need to send away impressions of your teeth to the dental laboratory for your brace to be made up, your treatment can begin immediately, unlike with Six Month Smiles and Inman aligners. This also means there are no additional laboratory costs for you to pay for- Park Lane can offer your Smile Rapide treatment at a competitive price to other similar kinds of orthodontic treatment offered by your dentist. We have always felt that our years of training and orthodontic experience should be at no extra cost.
Limited objectives orthodontic treatment
- Short term treatment is suitable for minor alignment issues – notably with the front teeth.
- Achievable with cosmetic (clear) braces or lingual (tongue side braces)
- Can correct mild crowding or spacing of front teeth.
This does not include:
- Improve your bite.
- Correcting narrow dental arches.
- Correcting dental midlines.
